One of only 150,000 coins struck on April 8th, 2021, the final day of production for the Type 1 Silver Eagles, ending a 35-year history of this classic design.

2021 marks the 35th Anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program. The United States Mint will unveil new reverse (tails) designs for bullion and collectible versions of American Eagle Gold and Silver Coins. The new designs (Type 2 Reverse) will begin appearing on these coins in midyear 2021.
