Our Story
1977 — Diamond District Roots
The family's journey in precious metals began when Ronella Lasing Corporation was established at 36 West 47th Street in New York City's legendary Diamond District. Specializing in diamond laser drilling, cutting, polishing, and precious metals refining, the business quickly earned a reputation for craftsmanship and integrity in one of the world's most competitive markets.
1989 — The Next Generation
Easton Dawkins and his brother became successors to Ronella Lasing, subsequently founding Five Star Precious Metals, LLC — building on the family's legacy as prominent dealers in the 47th Street Diamond District. Decades of hands-on experience in gemology, refining, and precious metals trading became the foundation for everything that followed.
2010 — Atlanta Gold & Silver
Easton Dawkins, his daughter Danielle Dawkins-Osborne, and her husband Andre Osborne brought the family's expertise south, opening Atlanta Gold & Silver as a premier Southeastern precious metals dealer. The move combined New York's Diamond District pedigree with Atlanta's growing demand for a trustworthy, locally-owned precious metals resource.
2018 — Alex Lexington Is Born
The business was renamed Alex Lexington — honoring the fourth generation, Easton's grandchildren Alex and Lexington. The rebrand consolidated precious metals trading, fine jewelry, and client services under one identity, reflecting the family's commitment to building something that lasts for generations.

Easton Dawkins — Founder
A GIA Graduate and Master Gemologist with roots in the Diamond District since 1977, Easton brings nearly five decades of expertise in diamond cutting, polishing, precious metals smelting, and refining. His deep industry knowledge and relationships built over a lifetime in the trade form the bedrock of Alex Lexington's reputation. Featured in Good Morning America and Forbes Magazine for his industry expertise.
Andre Osborne — Precious Metals Specialist & Operations
Andre leads Alex Lexington's precious metals operations — sourcing, pricing, trade execution, and client advisory. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in buying and selling gold, silver, platinum, palladium, coins, and bullion, Andre combines deep market knowledge with a technology-forward approach. Under his direction, Alex Lexington has built advanced digital platforms for real-time pricing, automated trade execution, and secure client portfolio management — making institutional-grade precious metals access available to every investor.
Danielle Dawkins-Osborne — Custom Jeweler & Controller
A GIA Graduate specializing in diamonds and diamond grading, Danielle carries forward her father's gemological legacy. She leads Alex Lexington's INDULGE collection — custom engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry crafted with expert precision. As company controller, Danielle also oversees financial operations, compliance, and business administration. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Managerial Sciences from Georgia State University.

From 47th Street to a
modern luxury house
What began with Easton Dawkins in the New York jewelry districts has grown into a modern luxury house rooted in Atlanta, extending globally through trusted partners and clients.
Formerly Atlanta Gold & Silver, Alex Lexington is led by husband-and-wife team Andre Osborne and Danielle Dawkins-Osborne, under the guidance of her father Easton Dawkins. Andre specializes in precious metals, coins and bullion; Danielle, a GIA graduate like her father, in diamonds, fine and custom jewelry.
The name carries the promise of the future — it honors Easton's two grandchildren, Alex and Lexington, the third generation who already share the desire to carry the family business forward.
